Peach

Peach is arguably the best character in the game, due to her extremely good edge guard and her broken turnips, which is her down b. She has extremely good recovery, being able to up b and then levitate by holding down jump and has very good kill potential, by using side b, toad, or any smash attack very early in percentages. Peach is ranked higher than Daisy, even though they are echo fighters, due to Daisy's idle animation having a slightly larger hitbox, due to her hand being held out forward. Overall, Peach is an easy to learn character that is very rewarding for the time put in.

Daisy

Daisy is slightly lower tier than Peach due to the reasons stated above, and just as Peach, she has all the benefits of her, as they are echo fighters. Animations are also slightly different as they are different models, but these are the only differences. Daisy and Peach are the closest echo fighters in the entire game.

Inkling

Inkling is one of the best characters along with Daisy and Peach, however, her learning curve is a little higher. For Inkling, the main objective is to apply as much ink to the enemy as possible then deal as much damage as possible, as the more ink on your enemy, the more damage you do. To do this, you can do any of her specials, specifically neutral b, as this sprays ink and applies it the quickest. Then, you can grab and throw up and do strings until they inevitably get out, and if they don't, get them to the edge and spike or edge guard. It takes a while to figure out her combos though, so this may take a while. Once you do learn her, she is extremely rewarding, however she is regarded as one of the most annoying characters to play against so keep that in mind if playing with your friends or at a tournament, or anything other than CPU's.
In conclusion, the character that you should play should be a character that you enjoy, because if you enjoy the character you play you will have much more success than playing the meta. Doing something you want to rather than forcing yourself to do something because it is the norm results in much higher success, from personal experience and from every professional you could talk to in the smash community. This is just a guide to show good characters that you may want to try out to see if you enjoy them and if you do, go ahead and play them. Have fun playing smash!
